Aaron and Rebecca’s Wedding: Lavender House Hotel

As an accomplished South West wedding band, it’s not often we get to play at a new venue - but last week we got to do just that when we performed at the Lavender House Hotel in South Devon for Aaron and Rebecca’s wedding!

We started our first set straight after the first dance, Bless the Broken Road by the Rascal Flatts which saw a confetti canon go off halfway through - very cool!!

You may or may not know that, as part of our wedding package, we take three requests - and Mr and Mrs Carpanini took full advantage of this, requesting Wherever You Will Go by The Calling, As Long As You Love Me by Backstreet Boys and No Diggity by Blackstreet, which featured some incredibly impressive rapping skills by our frontman - a surprise to us all!

We weren’t the only “musicians” on show during the night as, during our break, the groomsmen took to the stage to perform a karaoke version of All or Nothing by O-Town - quite the change from their normal day jobs as teachers, and very impressive if we say so ourselves.

Kudos to the Lavender House Hotel which we were so impressed with. It’s set in three beautiful acres of land and has unreal panoramic views of Dartmoor National Park, which make for the perfect backdrop to photos.

Fingers crossed we’ll be back there soon!
